Understand download size and quality
How source resolution, AI output, and listing sizes affect your PNG.
By StudioMock 1 min read ReviewedLive composites preserve the source image’s aspect ratio and resolution, capped at 4096 pixels on the longest edge. AI output is 1024 × 1024, 1024 × 1536, or 1536 × 1024; a listing-size setting does not create extra source detail.
Source resolution
Mockups download as PNG. A live composite uses the source image’s aspect ratio and resolution, capped at 4096 pixels on the longest edge. AI generation uses the closest available square, portrait, or landscape format: 1024 × 1024, 1024 × 1536, or 1536 × 1024.
Social and listing sizes
Choosing a social or listing size does not add detail beyond the source image. Check the crop and proportions for the destination where you plan to use the image.
Website previews
The responsive images on our public website are display copies. Your uploaded artwork, generation output, and downloadable mockups use their own image pipeline. Website display copies do not replace those files.
