Prepare an SVG for upload
Make your vector artwork self-contained so it renders correctly.
By StudioMock 1 min read ReviewedStudioMock converts a static, self-contained SVG to PNG in your browser before upload. If the SVG cannot render, export a transparent PNG from your design tool and upload it instead.
How SVG uploads work
StudioMock prepares SVG artwork as a PNG in the browser before upload. Your mockup download is a raster image, even when the original artwork is a vector file.
If an SVG will not upload
- Use a static, self-contained SVG without scripts, animation, external images, or remote resources.
- Include a valid width and height or viewBox. Convert text to outlines in your design tool to avoid missing font differences.
- Simplify very complex artwork, or export it as a transparent PNG and upload that instead.
